I've been riding the Crazybird Jumper CB60 for a while now, and overall I think it's a very good e-bike.
The bike has plenty of power, and the pedal assist is smooth, responsive, and consistent. The hydraulic brakes are excellent and provide strong, confident stopping power. The handlebar grips are comfortable, and the fat tyres offer great traction and stability on a variety of surfaces. The front light is bright enough for riding in low-light conditions, and the horn is loud and effective.
The seat is probably one of the weaker points of the bike. It's not terrible, but it isn't the most comfortable for longer rides. Fortunately, saddles are easy to replace, so this isn't a major issue.
The newer display screen is perfectly usable and provides all the information you need, but I personally preferred the previous display as I found it a little easier to use.
One downside is that the wheels do not have quick-release mechanisms. This makes removing the wheels for maintenance, puncture repairs, or transport slightly less convenient than it could be.
The only significant issue I experienced was with the battery charging port. When I went to charge the battery, the charging socket had fallen inside the battery casing, making it impossible to connect the charger. I had to take the battery to a local e-bike technician for repair. From what I could see, the charging port had not been secured particularly well during assembly, which was disappointing on a relatively new bike. Fortunately, the repair was straightforward and the battery has worked fine since.
Despite those issues, the CB60 has been a great e-bike overall. It offers strong performance, excellent hydraulic brakes, good traction from the fat tyres, comfortable controls, a bright front light, and reliable power delivery. If Crazybird improved the charging port mounting, upgraded the saddle, and added quick-release wheels, the bike would be even better.
Overall, I would still recommend the Crazybird Jumper CB60 and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
Very pleased with my purchase . Quick delivery, well packed and no damage . Easy to put together but give yourself a couple of hours and watch the video on YT. Everything worked out of the box , including plugging in the throttle but kept that for off-road so took off . First test run up and down the road was a breeze . Was peddling fast as got up speed but then realised I didn't need to because of the cadence sensor so immediately relaxed , slowed down my legs but it kept up the same speed - just what I wanted . Would recommend if you want to avoid over excursion and just cruise . Love it .
Ive had my Crazybird Jumper for around a month now and its time to let everyone know what i think of it. im a Coldstream Guards Veteran and this is an honest unpaid review.
the bike arrived well packaged and within an hour i had fitted the front wheel, bars etc and after a full battery charge i was ready to roll. the jumper is the best looking bike ive seen for a long time. the green metallic paintwork is sublime and really makes the bike pop ! the gears are good and work well and the 5 power levels are incredible. the battery is good for around 60 miles dependant on how you use it but most people should not need power level above 1 unless you have a very steep hill or you are not the fittest. i fitted a seat post suspension to the bike just to take away any vibrations although the fat tyres do a fantastic job at doing this. the hydraulic brakes are very good and stop you fast when needed. the front fork is not the best ! but it works ok just slightly jerky when you stop. ive done around 200 miles now on the jumper and its not let me down at all. it is a heavy bike but what e- bike isn't ? i would recommend the crazybird jumper to anyone old and young, im 60 and its given me the ability to go further longer and easier and im having a Blast !! i recommend getting the fender and rack set ( i haven't yet but will soon ) as this will keep you nice and clean when the mud kicks in ! all in all i can say i think its the best money i spent in a very long time ! maybe one day i will go for the full suspension YU8 but for now i will make lots of new memories with this CRAZYBIRD !! Do yourself a favour and go get one ! you will be glad you did !!!
Well, seeing as we may be running out of petrol due to Middle East conflict it seemed a good idea to have a Plan B so that our ponies can continue to be checked/fed. This is it - it is robust, very well made, super easy to ride and Crazybird are a brilliant company to deal with. Questions (however stupid) are answered quickly and my only problem is prising O/H off this lovely bike long enough to ride it myself!! Highly recommend.
